About this experience
 

Here is quickly displayed the roadmap we took to travel around Asia and back to Europe. I started to dream of this journey several years ago while reading Tiziano Terzani's "a futureteller told me" and in 2004, after lots of thoughts and planning, it was a pleasure to quit our job, house and comfort to trip around in another environment. In the whole six months I spent 3000€, inclusive of onward flight to Delhi, food, accomodation, extras and the transiberian train. Think about it next time a travel agency proposes you a holiday...

 

 First part of the trip. Visit to India took four months, we moved mainly by train or bus. Then from Kathmandu we reached Lhasa by Jeep crossing the Himalaya. Then again train and bus as far as Beijing across the desolate and empty Tibetan plateau and North of China.  
  Transiberian train leaves Beijing to reach Moskow seven days and 7855 Km later.  
 

 

I expecially would like to thank my dear Soazig for her unique company and presence. I feel I would have been lonely had I made this travel on my own
